We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Administrative Assistant to join our team at Page Personnel Sales. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our HR team and contributing to the effective delivery of a high-quality, professional HR service.
Key Responsibilities- First Point of Contact: You will be the first point of contact for all HR-related queries, providing timely and accurate responses to employees and management.
- Employee Lifecycle Processing: You will be responsible for administering the employee lifecycle, including hires, promotions, transfers, leavers, and maternity leave.
- Payroll Administration: You will collate and input all payroll data to a strict deadline, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- HR Systems Management: You will maintain accurate employee records, both manual and computerized, and ensure that all HR systems are up-to-date and functioning correctly.
- Documentation and Communication: You will generate offer letters, contracts, and other employment-related documentation, as well as coordinate employment checks for all new starters.
- Inductions and Onboarding: You will organize HR inductions and liaise with the IT team to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new employees.
- Performance Management: You will support the annual performance cycle, including tracking probation completion and supporting managers with performance-related tasks.
- Customer Service: You will provide excellent customer service to employees and management, responding to telephone and written enquiries, and requests for information.
- High Level of Proficiency: You will have a high level of proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Customer Service Skills: You will have demonstrated success in delivering high-quality customer service.
- Accuracy and Attention to Detail: You will have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize and deliver to strict deadlines.
- Continuous Improvement: You will have a focus on continuous improvement, with a willingness to challenge and contribute to change.
- Desirable Qualifications: CIPD level 3 is desirable, but not essential. Previous experience within a similar role and working with HR systems is also desirable.
