The Open University UK is seeking a visionary leader to join our team as the Pro Vice Chancellor for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion. As a key member of our executive team, you will be responsible for leading our efforts to achieve equity, diversity and inclusion in every aspect of our work.
This is a critical role that requires a deep understanding of the importance of creating an inclusive and equitable environment for all. You will work closely with our Vice Chancellor, faculty members, and staff to develop and implement strategies that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leadership and a passion for creating a culture of inclusion. You will be responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion, as well as providing guidance and support to faculty and staff on these issues.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategies to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion across the university
- Provide leadership and guidance to faculty and staff on diversity, equity, and inclusion issues
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to develop and implement diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives
- Provide support and guidance to students on diversity, equity, and inclusion issues
The successful candidate will have a strong background in diversity, equity, and inclusion, as well as a proven track record of leadership. You will have a deep understanding of the importance of creating an inclusive and equitable environment for all, and be able to develop and implement strategies to achieve this goal.
You will be a strong communicator and collaborator, able to work effectively with faculty, staff, and students to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion. You will also have a strong understanding of the importance of data-driven decision making and be able to analyze data to inform diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
