Focus Resourcing is seeking a skilled HGV Maintenance Specialist to become a vital part of our expanding team. We pride ourselves on fostering a collaborative work environment and have recently upgraded our facilities to enhance productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections adhering to DVSA and FTA standards.
- Perform diagnostics, repairs, and servicing on a diverse range of commercial vehicles and trailers.
- Prepare vehicles for MOT in compliance with DVSA regulations.
- Execute servicing tasks according to manufacturer specifications.
Essential Qualifications:
- Possession of industry-recognized qualifications (City & Guilds / NVQ Level Three) in heavy vehicle service, maintenance, and repair.
- A minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience as an HGV Mechanic.
- Basic proficiency in computer systems and fleet diagnostic tools.
- Experience with brake systems (training opportunities available).
- Familiarity with MOT preparation processes.
- Competence in modern mechanical and electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting.
