EES Solutions is a pioneering engineering solutions provider, serving diverse sectors like Rail, Automotive, Marine, and Energy. We are seeking a skilled Bespoke Automotive Engineer to join our team in Warwickshire, England, United Kingdom.

About the Role

This contract position involves working closely with our automotive clientele, focusing on high-performance versions of existing models, luxury bespoke commissions, heritage models, or individually tailored vehicles. The successful candidate will be responsible for fostering strong links and partnerships with Core teams, Quality teams, the Supply base, our Bespoke Operations team, and our unique Manufacturing plants/processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and implement change, ensuring robust personalisation options for customers.
• Develop and deliver engineering solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Investigate and improve existing processes, ensuring quality and efficiency.
• Manage and report project status at agreed milestones.
• Engage with Core counterparts, influencing as a credible stakeholder.
• Review and maintain system compatibilities and attributes.
• Attend Agile meetings, Launch Management Meetings, Quality reviews, and provide clear status/plans.
• Own Engineering warranty issues via IQM or Running change issues (AIMS).
• Champion change affecting the engineering BOM.
• Generate and maintain a clear understanding of Manufacturing process flows.
• Champion Lessons Learned.

Requirements

• Technical knowledge and automotive engineering experience of Interior & Exterior trim commodities.
• Basic knowledge of paint systems and processes.
• Good working knowledge of product creation & delivery, change control, issue definition, and the change management process.
• Knowledge of Digi-Buck and 3DLive or equivalent experience of other systems.
• Strong influencing and engagement skills, ability to challenge existing thinking in a positive way.
• Good communication and presentation skills, with experience in data analysis and PC skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
