About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimation Manager to join our team at Sinewave. As a key contact for the wider commercial team, you will ensure the quotation process supports the business strategy, drives sustainable growth, and brand reputation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the estimation team, including allocating workloads and maintaining committed deadlines.
  • Identify knowledge gaps and opportunities for professional development.
  • Support the team through effective line management, including 121s and appraisals, in line with our people-centered HR policies.
  • Drive performance and cost-effectiveness through monitoring KPIs in alignment with business-wide objectives, ensuring effective delivery of core responsibilities with a high level of focus, resulting in a dynamic process-driven and results-oriented function.
  • Manage internal team processes, including the quotation process and data entry on business systems.
  • Prepare basic and detailed tenders, COMA/maintenance contracts, and sales contracts, ensuring adherence to laws, established rules, and guidelines.
  • Manage the approval process of quotes up to £200,000 before they are sent to clients and decide on the quote/no quote process.
Requirements
  • A proven track record of building strong and collaborative relationships with both internal and external clients and suppliers counterparts.
  • Experience in delivering results through strong leadership and collaboration skills.
  • Establishing key aspects associated with client requirements, providing quotations, liaising with internal departments, and submitting a final overview of project ability to the client.
  • Working business systems to follow company processes and maintain data integrity.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • A full UK driving license (maximum of 3 points).
  • Degree-level qualification in a relevant field.
  • Strong market knowledge and experience within the electrical distribution sector, both HV and LV.
  • Experience of tendering for O&M contracts and private networks.
  • Experience of establishing strategic and operational partnerships.
  • Wide experience of handling complex and sensitive business/commercial information both internally and externally, in confidence.
  • Demonstrative experience in project management and process improvement.
