We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Care Support Worker to join our team in Bromley. As a Care Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with complex learning disabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Provide social and emotional support to service users, promoting their independence and well-being.
- Support with personal care, including hygiene needs, and assist with daily living tasks.
- Accompany service users on outings, such as farm visits, swimming, and shopping, to promote social interaction and community engagement.
- Build and maintain relationships with service users' families and friends, ensuring a collaborative approach to care.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, promoting a culture of empathy and understanding.
- Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities, including autism, is desirable but not essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with service users and colleagues.
- Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and sleep-ins, to meet the needs of the service.
- Computer literacy and basic IT skills.
- Car driver desirable but not essential.
- National Living Wage paid, regardless of age, including under 25s.
