Senior Planner Opportunity

Gilkes has an exciting opportunity for a skilled and motivated Senior Planner to join our supply chain department at our Head Office in Kendal, Cumbria.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the Hydro projects team to schedule service resources nationwide and coordinate breakdown assistance.
  • Release and allocate both in-house and external orders to ensure the successful build, installation, and servicing of Hydro Equipment.
  • Maintain a high level of housekeeping within the internal ERP system to ensure accurate collection of cost and data.
  • Ensure inventory is issued and controlled on all relevant shop and work orders.
Requirements:
  • Advanced levels of numeracy and literacy (A level, NVQ level 3 and 4 or equivalent).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; especially Excel.
  • Flexible Working (half day Fridays).
