About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to join the Commercial Team at Shell Energy UK as a Credit Risk Manager. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing credit risk for our business customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough credit assessments of business customers to determine their creditworthiness.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including credit partners and front office teams.
- Provide expert advice on credit risk management and mitigation strategies to senior management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address credit risk issues.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in credit risk management.
Requirements
- Significant experience in credit management, preferably in the energy industry.
- Strong understanding of corporate structures, financial statements, and credit agency ratings.
- Advanced IT skills, including credit risk modeling techniques and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Degree-level education and/or relevant professional qualification.
