Job Title: Senior Development and Test Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Development and Test Engineer to join our System Test Team in Bristol. As a Senior Development and Test Engineer, you will be responsible for designing software solutions for Hardware in the Loop testing, data acquisition hardware and software, HMI, data recording, test automation, and data compression.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop software solutions for Hardware in the Loop testing, data acquisition hardware and software, HMI, data recording, test automation, and data compression.
  • Support with requirements specification, validation, integration, and verification of test rigs software applications and data acquisition systems.
  • Lead the development of various Human Machine Interfaces (HMI) and aircraft virtual panels.
  • Design test automation and post data analysis automation applications to improve test campaign metrics.
  • Work closely with Integration and Test Engineers during commissioning and operation of new test rigs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace, Electrical, or Computer Science Engineering (or equivalent).
  • At least 5 years' experience within aerospace/automotive engineering test campaigns, unit, and system testing of hardware and associated software.
  • Experience with data acquisition systems such as Speedgoat, National Instruments, RT-Opal, or dSPACE.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD processes and proficiency with tools such as git/SourceTree.
  • Knowledge of DO-330 software tool qualification and DO-178 airborne systems software.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with UI/UX design for test applications.
  • Familiarity with Requirement Management tools such as DOORS, Windchill RV&S, Eclipse, or JAMA.
