Senior ATO Storage and Distribution Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our Storage and Distribution team as a Senior Assistant Technical Officer (ATO) in the Pharmacy Department at the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff.
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the safe and accurate distribution of medicines and medical gases to patients, wards, departments, and other users within Cardiff and Vale UHB.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinating the distribution and stock of medical gases, ensuring each clinic area has an adequate supply of cylinders.
- Ensuring safe and secure storage of medicines and medical gases following departmental and legal guidelines.
- To be an active member of the UHB Medical Gases Committee and attend regular meetings.
- Ensure the correct use of the medical gas tracking system across CAV and monitor use to inform demand.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of stock control.
- Experience of leading teams.
Desirable Qualifications:
- NVQ 2 in Pharmacy or equivalent.
- Experience of working in Pharmacy.
