- Staff Management: Manage and supervise a team of staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are equipped to perform their duties effectively.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all sites are compliant with relevant regulations and standards, and that all staff are aware of and adhere to safety procedures.
- Quality Management: Develop and implement quality management systems to ensure that our services meet the highest standards.
- Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to our clients, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements:
- Essential:
- Proven experience in waste management operations, with a strong understanding of safety and compliance regulations.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with staff, clients, and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach.
- Valid UK driver's license and access to a vehicle for business use.
- Desirable:
- Relevant qualifications in waste management or a related field.
- Experience in staff management and development.
Working Arrangements:
This is a full-time position, working 37-40 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to work at various locations, including waste management sites and offices. A valid UK driver's license and access to a vehicle for business use are essential for this role.
