Senior Electronics Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electronics Design Engineer to join our team in Chester. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative electronic products that meet the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop electronic products that meet customer requirements and exceed expectations
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet requirements and are feasible for production
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement design principles that mitigate supply chain dependencies
  • Identify and communicate technical issues and risks, and propose solutions to mitigate them
  • Support other teams in all matters relating to electronic designs, their build and testing
  • Analyze and select alternative components, and test them to ensure they meet requirements
  • Use your experience to guide designs at all stages, from concept to release to manufacture
  • Understand and operate within company processes and procedures
  • Prototype bring-up, testing and reporting
  • Support the design, certification and release to manufacture process
Requirements:
  • Experience in Electrical/Electronic engineering
  • Knowledge of more than one PCB CAD design packages for high-tech product designs
  • Hands-on prototyping, testing and fault finding to component level
  • Networked / IOT / IIOT product design experience
  • Design for manufacture experience
  • Prototyping systems virtually, or on the bench prior to design works
