As a Security Officer at ABM UK, you will be instrumental in safeguarding our clients' properties. Your responsibilities will include overseeing access points, performing regular patrols, and addressing potential security issues. Our mission is to deliver high-quality security services while ensuring outstanding customer interactions.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct frequent patrols of the facility to ensure the safety and security of personnel, property, and assets.
- Screen and monitor visitors, verifying identification and granting access according to company guidelines.
- Respond swiftly to all security incidents, including alarms, disturbances, and emergencies, taking appropriate measures.
- Uphold company policies and regulations to maintain a secure environment.
- Carry out thorough investigations of security incidents and prepare detailed reports.
- Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of all security-related activities and incidents.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience as a Security Officer or in a similar capacity.
- In-depth knowledge of security protocols and procedures.
- Strong observational and analytical abilities.
- Capability to manage stressful situations with professionalism and composure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and make informed decisions.
- Willingness to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Possession of a valid SIA Security Guard or Door Supervisor license (or willingness to obtain one).
