About the Audit Senior Role

We are seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join our team at TC-Group in our Leicester office.

The successful candidate will work on a diverse portfolio of audit clients, including owner-managed corporates, not-for-profit organizations, and educational institutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the management and delivery of assignments through undertaking audit fieldwork at clients' premises and in the office.
  • Take responsibility for all audit fieldwork of the team.
  • Prepare client deliverables, including Audit Findings Reports, and build relationships with clients and their teams.
  • Act as an ambassador for the business and actively involve in the professional and personal development of more junior team members.
  • Prepare accounts on IRIS, including those under IFRS, FRS102, and 1A.
  • Identify, research, and help resolve technical issues that may arise.
  • Develop a strong commercial understanding of clients' businesses and any developments within them.
  • Initiate and work with other service lines across the business to the benefit of the client, including referring opportunities and minimizing risk.
  • Form relationships with the national Audit & Assurance team across the wider business, sharing knowledge and best practice.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience of working in audit.
  • AAT/ACCA/ACA qualified, or working towards qualification.
  • Recent accounting and audit experience is essential, including knowledge of UK GAAP, ISAs, and Companies Law.
  • Technical ability with a knowledge of recent developments in relation to accounting and audit regulations.
  • Commitment to building the reputation of the firm through the quality of work provided, knowledge demonstrated, and client experience.
