About the Role:

SF Recruitment (Leicester) is seeking a talented Junior Design Engineer to join our Engineering & Manufacturing division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing LV switchgear and power distribution systems for one of the UK's leading manufacturers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing detailed designs and specific contract work instructions documentation for LV switchgear and power distribution systems
  • Providing close customer liaison on receipt of orders
  • Ensuring engineering orders are completed within budget and time frame, to specification and quality standards
  • Complying with and implementing the Q&E management system
  • Ensuring compliance with agreed build specification and Company design criteria

Requirements:

  • A relevant Electrical Engineering qualification
  • Around 3-5 year's industry experience within Electrical Design Engineering
  • Experience using Autodesk Inventor and SEE Electrical software
  • Experience working with switchboards and panels within a design capacity would be an advantage
  • Customer liaison experience would also be an advantage
