Position Overview

Parker Shaw is seeking a dedicated Supply Chain Coordinator to collaborate with clients and logistics partners to ensure that shipments are efficiently collected, properly packaged, and delivered punctually to their final destinations. The role emphasizes exceptional customer service and effective logistical strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Order Coordination: Manage and monitor shipments from point of origin to final delivery:
    • Maintain accurate shipment information in the system.
  • Issue Resolution: Collaborate with carriers and clients to address and resolve shipment-related challenges.
  • Freight Claims: Oversee the management of freight claims.
  • Cost Oversight: Verify final shipping costs provided by carriers for accuracy.
  • Invoicing: Ensure timely invoicing for customers.
  • Customs Documentation:
    • Collect asset checks from suppliers, upload them into the system, and file appropriately.
    • Address any discrepancies in asset checks that cannot be uploaded, following established resolution procedures.
    • Generate master truck invoices based on vendor loading lists.
    • Update the AUS report bi-weekly for management meetings.
    • Review the BI report daily and communicate with vendors regarding delays.
    • Prepare and organize monthly files for all customs documentation.
  • Process Knowledge: Develop an understanding of the HPEFS returns logistics process through active engagement with the team.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proven customer service abilities, preferably with a background in logistics or transportation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.
  • Strong communication skills, particularly over the phone.
  • Effective problem-solving capabilities.
  • A collaborative team player.
