Your Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Occupational Therapy team to conduct assessments, implement treatment plans, and facilitate group activities tailored to individual needs.
- Contribute to a therapeutic environment that promotes engagement, well-being, and a sense of community.
- Support discharge planning by connecting patients with essential resources and services within the community.
- Work closely with families, friends, and carers to ensure holistic support for patients.
- Assist in completing assessments related to activities of daily living (ADLs) under the guidance of an Occupational Therapist.
About You
You possess a genuine interest in mental health and a commitment to providing compassionate care. Your strong communication skills enable you to effectively interact with both patients and colleagues. You are a team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Requirements
- Relevant experience working within a similar setting.
- Proven therapeutic skills for individuals experiencing mental health challenges.
- NVQ or equivalent qualification in a related field.
