Job Description

Job Title: Logistics Supply Chain Specialist

Industry: Robotics and Automation

Location: Remote (UK-based company)

Salary: £30 - £40k (dependent on experience)

This is an exciting opportunity to join Wynne Consulting as a Logistics Supply Chain Specialist, working with a market leader in the Robotics and Automation industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate order processing and logistical distribution of company products, including planning, review, and financial control.
  • Arrange deliveries for local project requirements and communicate with external customers and internal departments.
  • Provide Customs support with import and exports of products and related equipment.
  • Forecast and plan demand for company products to meet customer needs.
  • Ensure high-quality delivery of goods, measuring quality with dedicated KPIs.
  • Align with company strategies to support business growth targets and implement change within the organization.
  • Support process development and continuous improvement activities within the team and wider business.
  • Work closely with other departments to align Supply Chain operations with overall business goals.
  • Comply with Supply Chain and Customs regulations and policies.

Requirements:

  • University degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or Business or equivalent.
  • 4+ years of work experience in Supply Chain or Logistics or similar position.
  • Good knowledge of Customs and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Good knowledge of ERP systems and MS Office package.
  • Ability to manage workload in a high-volume environment.
  • Experience working with clients of various sizes.
  • Customer-centric approach to work.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Determination to get the job done and flexibility to adapt to changing requirements.
  • Good time management, planning, and accuracy.

What You May Be Required To Do:

  • Support wider operational activities from time to time.
  • Support or take a leading role in local or group-based projects and implementations.
  • Support other subsidiary lead projects.
  • Occasionally travel to other sites.
