Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Bid and Project Manager to join our team at Manor Royal Business District. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading complex projects from bid to delivery, ensuring effective project governance, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Lead high-value projects (circa £50m+) in a complex, multidisciplinary, multi-site organization, within the defence sector.
  • Project Governance: Ensure effective project governance, including Change Control, Risk Management, and Information Management.
  • Team Management: Manage project teams, including coaching project managers, and ensure data integrity of all project information.
  • Business Growth: Support bid management activities to achieve organic growth, and drive Quality, Cost & Delivery performance.
  • Lessons Learned Management: Apply lessons from other projects, and capture lessons learned on specific projects under your control.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience of successfully managing high-value projects in a complex, multidisciplinary, multi-site organization, within the defence sector.
  • Skills: Excellent negotiation skills, stakeholder management skills, and comprehensive understanding of generic processes and techniques used to schedule project activities.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Project Management, Business Administration, or Engineering.
