Senior Management Accountant Opportunity

Broster Buchanan Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Senior Management Accountant to join our team in the renewable energy sector. As a key member of our financial team, you will be responsible for leading the financial obligations across a portfolio of assets in the renewables space.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Leadership: Lead monthly management accounts, cashflow forecasts, and distribution calculations to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Statutory Compliance: Oversee statutory compliance and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting.
  • Audit Support: Support the audit process and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvements in accounting processes and reporting.
  • Team Guidance: Review the team's preparation of monthly management accounts, providing guidance on any issues or challenges that arise.
  • Client Partnership: Serve as the trusted business partner and primary contact for any escalations, client concerns, or proposals.
  • Cashflow Forecasting: Prepare and deliver regular cashflow forecasts and distribution calculations, including clear bridge analysis.
  • Budgeting: Lead the coordination of the annual budgeting process, ensuring full approval from the board.
  • Board Reporting: Compile quarterly board reports and present the financial sections at board meetings.

Qualifications:
  • Professional Qualifications: ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Financial Knowledge: Strong knowledge of IFRS, FRS 101, FRS 102, and UK GAAP.
  • Client Management: Proven ability to manage multiple clients and entities.
