Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Development Representative to join our Business Development Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and facilitating new sales opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, and driving business growth.

About the Role

The Sales Development Representative will be responsible for:

  • Identifying and securing quality potential client meetings for the Senior Business Development Team across Europe.
  • Running and managing sales campaigns across SS&C's full range of fund services solutions.
  • Building a strong pipeline within the Alternatives Investment space, including Private Equity, Real Assets, Private & Public Debt, Hedge Funds, and Asset Owners.
  • Qualifying potential prospects quickly to determine their suitability for a particular SS&C solution.
  • Tracking all sales activities and touchpoints in SS&C's CRM system.
  • Preparing prospect engagement documentation, including discovery calls, on-site and virtual presentations, product demonstrations, and follow-up meetings.
  • Following up on all prospect activities in a timely manner.
  • Building strong industry relationships with prospects and expanding your professional network within the alternative investment space.
  • Working with Sales to prepare detailed write-ups on prospects, including a well-defined strategy, tactics, and prospect backgrounds.
  • Helping to build the firm's brand and increase brand awareness to generate quality leads.
  • Attending industry events and conferences.
Your Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Pre-Sales / Business Development experience in the financial services technology industry or industry experience from working within financial institutions engaging C-suite.
  • Professional fluency in English is required, and it would be beneficial if you are also multilingual with professional fluency in French, Spanish, German, or Italian.
  • A Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related area is advantageous.
  • Ability to make 'cold calls'.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills, including independent client-facing presentations.
  • Ability to initiate, develop, and maintain relationships and represent SS&C both internally and externally.
  • The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, a quick learner, and will be expected to establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the industry.
  • Self-motivated and driven to deliver strong results.
