Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Health Care Support Workers to join our team at Elmleigh, an adult acute mental health hospital in Havant. As part of a collaborative team, you will play a vital role in supporting service users and contributing to their well-being.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide direct care to service users, assisting with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, meals, and medication administration.
- Observe and document changes in service users' physical and mental health, reporting any concerns to qualified staff.
- Participate in therapeutic activities and social engagement programs, fostering a supportive environment for recovery.
- Work closely with the multidisciplinary team, contributing to care plans and ensuring continuity of care.
- Maintain professional boundaries while providing emotional support and encouragement to service users.
