About this Opportunity

Harris Geospatial Solutions is seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our team in Tewkesbury or Fleet. As a Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in delivering unique capabilities across air, land, sea, space, and cyber for military, security, and commercial customers worldwide.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop software solutions using C++, Embedded C, and other relevant programming languages.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, implement, and test software projects.
  • Ensure software quality, reliability, and maintainability through rigorous testing and documentation.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies to drive innovation and improvement.
Requirements
  • Strong experience in object-oriented design and implementation principles (OOD, OOP).
  • Previous software engineering experience in one or more languages, with up-to-date skills and a keen interest in industry best practice.
  • Lifecycle experience, including planning, requirements, architecture, design, implementation, unit testing, integration testing, release, and associated reviews.
  • Ability to solve complex problems autonomously or as part of a team.
