Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Leader and Plant Operative to join our team at 24-7 Recruitment Services. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading a team of plant operatives and ensuring the smooth operation of our recycling and waste management facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of plant operatives to achieve production targets and maintain high levels of quality and safety
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination
  • Monitor and control inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstocking
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and company policies

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the recycling and waste management industry
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
  • Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as required
