Key Responsibilities:- Assess security plans and ensure compliance with legislation
- Visit duty holders to inspect nuclear sites and assess security measures
- Regulate security across the civil nuclear industry, including physical security, personnel security, and nuclear transport security
- Lead and shape our society's future use of nuclear technology
- Good honours degree or accredited Level 6 qualification in a security subject
- Member of a relevant professional institution or equivalent experience
- Highly experienced protective security practitioner with good knowledge of risk management
- Expertise in two of the following areas: personnel security, policing and guarding, or emergency preparedness and response
- Competitive salary of £68,954 - £79,219 (plus £4,052 London Weighting Allowance if applicable)
