We are seeking a Taxation Strategy Manager to become part of a prominent firm of Chartered Accountants and Tax Advisors, recognized for our expertise and commitment to client success. Our team consists of 19 Principals and over 250 dedicated professionals, providing a wide range of advisory services to both domestic and international clients.

Role Responsibilities:

The Taxation Strategy Manager will operate from our hybrid work environment, reporting directly to a Tax Principal. This role involves overseeing the compliance requirements of a varied portfolio of corporate and individual clients. You will have the opportunity to refine your technical abilities by collaborating with the Business Tax Team on intricate tax matters, including:

  • Conducting tax-related tasks in accordance with established firm protocols.
  • Preparing Corporate Tax Returns and managing inquiries.
  • Addressing tax planning challenges.
  • Overseeing a client portfolio under the guidance of the Corporate Tax Principal.
  • Monitoring Corporation Tax Returns to ensure timely submissions.
Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • CTA qualification (essential).
  • Experience within a professional practice environment.
  • Ability to manage a portfolio of owner-managed businesses (OMBs), ensuring compliance and identifying tax planning opportunities. Familiarity with non-corporate taxes is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong IT and technical proficiency.
  • A collaborative team player with outstanding interpersonal skills and the capability to mentor junior staff.
Employment Benefits:

This is a full-time position, operating Monday to Friday. The compensation package includes:

  • Auto-Enrolment Pension Scheme (Employer: 5%; Employee: 3%) subject to eligibility.
  • Annual Christmas Bonus equivalent to one week's salary.
  • Private Medical Insurance after 3 months of service (taxable benefit).
  • Death in Service cover (4x salary).
  • Group Income Protection Scheme (non-contributory) after 3 months of service.
  • 25 days of annual leave per year (pro-rata), with 3 days typically taken during the holiday season.
