About the Position

An exciting opportunity is available for a Software Controls Engineer to engage in our Oil & Gas Storage & Distribution Sector.

Reporting to the Sector Project Manager, your role will involve supporting and executing automation projects for our key clients.

This position entails the development of PLC, HMI, and SCADA software within a dynamic and rapidly changing industry. The role also includes significant customer interaction and site responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and adjust PLC, HMI, and SCADA software according to customer specifications.
  • Provide expert advice on automation solutions and best practices for control system architectures.
  • Conduct site surveys and assist in project estimations (engineering time and materials).
Candidate Profile:
  • Strong knowledge of PLC, SCADA, and HMI systems from manufacturers such as Rockwell, Schneider, Mitsubishi, Aveva Wonderware, and Beijer.
  • Experience in setting up, commissioning, and troubleshooting industrial networks.
  • Ability to interpret and understand electrical schematic diagrams from industrial settings.
  • Familiarity with the standards applicable in the water sector.
