Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food Raw Materials Trader to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new third-party trade, identifying new manufacturing sources, and working closely with our office network to leverage opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate new third-party trade, adding to our sales accounts in existing and new geographies, beyond existing Group interests.
  • Identify new manufacturing sources for supply of relevant materials, conduct physical premises audits, compliance screening, to incorporate within Longulf's supplier portfolio.
  • Work closely with Longulf Group office network to leverage opportunities.
  • Identify where additional resource allocation is required to drive business development.
  • Play a significant role in new projects seeking to land viable commercially additions to our current portfolio.
  • Report and advise senior colleagues of trading opportunities.
  • Acquire knowledge and expertise in our traded products enabling Longulf to offer timely market intelligence.
  • Commit accurate and relevant intelligence to the Division's data bases.
  • Participate in the Division's continuous education, and risk management programmes.
