Our extensive range includes over 1,000 wines, spirits, and beers, available both online and in-store, supported by our team of over 1,000 WSET-trained staff dedicated to providing exceptional customer service.

Your Role

As a Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in supporting your store team to drive sales performance and ensure the smooth operation of daily activities. Your focus will be on delivering outstanding customer service and enhancing the overall shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enhance store performance by maximizing sales opportunities and assisting your team in achieving targets through effective KPI management.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to foster loyalty and encourage repeat business.
  • Deliver a personalized shopping experience by proactively engaging with customers about product updates and tastings.
  • Share your passion for our products by effectively communicating their stories rather than focusing solely on discounts.
  • Continuously improve your wine knowledge to support your WSET qualifications and boost your confidence in sales.
  • Maintain the store's appearance and cleanliness, taking pride in both internal and external presentation.
  • Participate in all operational tasks necessary for the daily management of the store, including deliveries, stock merchandising, and customer outreach.
  • Identify and implement improvements to optimize store operations, collaborating with your team to develop solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures, completing all required training.
  • Act as a role model for Majestic's standards and support junior team members, providing feedback to management as needed.
  • As a key holder, you will be responsible for opening and closing the store in compliance with company policies.

Knowledge & Skills Required

  • Strong time management, delegation, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Self-motivated and capable of thriving both independently and as part of a team.
  • A proactive attitude with a commitment to resolving challenges.
  • Adaptable and resilient in response to the dynamic nature of retail.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Wine knowledge is advantageous, but a willingness to learn is essential for achieving WSET Level 2 qualifications.
  • A valid UK/EU/EEA driving license held for at least 12 months with a maximum of 6 penalty points.
