Key Responsibilities:
- Provide person-centered support to individuals with complex needs, including those with mental ill health, autism, learning disabilities, and dementia.
- Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care, cooking, and cleaning, to promote independence and well-being.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users, their families, and other stakeholders to ensure a supportive and inclusive environment.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in supporting individuals with complex needs.
- Contribute to a collaborative and dynamic team environment, promoting a culture of respect, empathy, and understanding.
Requirements:
- Experience working with individuals with complex needs, preferably in a residential or community setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with service users and colleagues.
- Ability to work flexibly, including night shifts, and be available for on-call duties as required.
- Compassionate and empathetic approach, with a commitment to promoting the rights and dignity of individuals with complex needs.
- Ability to work as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to meet the changing needs of service users.
