Role Overview

This position offers a challenging yet fulfilling opportunity to ensure the safety and security of individuals and properties within a large, busy healthcare facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter and identify potential issues.
  • Respond to and manage emergencies, including fire evacuations and conflict situations.
  • Collaborate with client representatives, customers, and team members to address inquiries.
  • Oversee access control for staff, visitors, patients, and contractors.
  • Identify and report Health & Safety concerns, providing first aid when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records, including incident reports and daily logs using digital systems.
  • Investigate incidents and prepare detailed reports, coordinating with law enforcement and other relevant parties.

Work Schedule

Various shift patterns are available, covering both daytime and nighttime hours. Flexibility and reliability are essential to support team operations and ensure seamless service delivery.

Essential Qualifications

  • Possession of an SIA Door Supervision (DS) or Security Guarding (SG) license.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and organizational abilities.
  • Capability to maintain composure and professionalism in high-pressure situations.
  • Dynamic interpersonal skills to engage effectively with the public.
  • Prior experience in a customer-facing role, preferably within the security sector.

Candidate Requirements

  • Five-year checkable employment history.
  • Documentation to verify eligibility to work in the UK, if applicable.
  • Ability to pass a criminal record check (CRC) to the required standard.
  • Proficient command of English, both spoken and written.
  • Possession of an SIA license - Door Supervisor or Close Protection is required.
  • Previous experience in healthcare security or a similar environment is advantageous.
  • An SIA CCTV License is beneficial but not mandatory.
