Key Responsibilities:

* Provide expert palliative care to patients with advanced illnesses
* Lead a team of specialist palliative care doctors and other healthcare professionals
* Develop and implement palliative care services and protocols
* Participate in clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives
* Collaborate with other departments and services to ensure seamless patient care

Requirements:

* MBBS, Mb ChB or equivalent medical qualification
* Higher medical qualification (e.g., MD, MSc)
* Evidence of postgraduate study in palliative medicine
* Full Registration and a licence to practise with the General Medical Council (GMC)
* Entry onto the GMC Specialist Register in Specialist Palliative Medicine
