About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for producing management accounts packs, managing inventory accounting and cost analysis processes, and collaborating with department heads to identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Reporting: Produce management accounts packs for business areas, including commentary on variances.
- Inventory Management: Manage and optimise inventory accounting and cost analysis processes, including drop-shipping and multi-channel fulfilment considerations.
- Cost Savings and Revenue Growth: Collaborate with department heads to identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth, and develop and track key performance indicators for different business areas.
- Financial Systems and Controls: Play a key role in the implementation and maintenance of financial systems and controls, and contribute significantly to the development and refinement of financial policies and procedures.
- Team Development: Mentor team members and contribute to the overall development of the finance function.
- Strategic Financial Planning: Support the Finance Director and Financial Controller in strategic financial planning and forecasting.
