Accounting Manager

The Accounts Payable Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the finance team in processing vendor invoices, reconciling vendor ledgers, and ensuring prompt and accurate payments.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the accounts payable process across three businesses (Impero, Netop, and Content Keeper)
- Streamline accounts payable processes to achieve best-in-class AP processing metrics and reduce wrap-around time
- Support the Financial Controller and Finance Manager as required
- Identify and implement improvements within the Accounts Payable team to enhance work processes
- Process manual and electronic invoices to the finance systems
- Reconcile supplier accounts and resolve complex queries using data from the finance system
- Liaise with the wider finance team to ensure deadlines are met
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in transactional accounting with a focus on leading projects and achieving results
- Excellent understanding of accounts payable processes
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Working Arrangements:
The office is based in central Nottingham, and the successful candidate will be required to attend the office at least two days a week when the rest of the team is present.
This is a full-time permanent position.
