Contract Details: This role is a full-time agency contract for a duration of 3-6 months, with potential for extension.
Compensation: Competitive hourly rates ranging from £21 to £25, negotiable based on experience.
Work Hours: 37 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the provision of an exemplary Family Early Help Service within the Children & Families Directorate.
  • Engage with families whose children are at risk of adverse outcomes, offering early intervention to address emerging challenges.
  • Support families transitioning from statutory services, ensuring continued progress and stability.
  • Act as a lead professional, collaborating with all family members to assess their needs and formulate a comprehensive family plan aimed at achieving positive outcomes.
  • Work directly with children and families, fostering sustainable change through a balanced approach of support and challenge.

Core Values: As a Child Welfare Support Specialist, you will ensure that children, young people, and their families receive assistance that is respectful, timely, and effective, providing a consistent support system that leads to improved family outcomes.

Essential Qualifications: Experience in Early Help Support is essential.
