About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Client Offboarding Analyst to join our team at Barclays. As an Assistant Vice President, you will play a critical role in the monthly offboarding process, driving continuous improvement and offboarding team project streams. You will be responsible for building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and ensuring the correct level of service is provided to clients by the Know Your Customer team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Wholesale Onboarding Initiatives: Assist with day-to-day Wholesale Onboarding initiatives, including KYC processing, reviewing, reporting, trading, and issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with Clients and Front Office: Work with clients and front office teams to gather Customer Due Diligence information and evidence to onboard or refresh clients' KYC in line with documented policy.
  • Develop and Implement Procedures: Develop and implement Wholesale Onboarding procedures and controls to mitigate risks and maintain operational efficiency.
  • Report and Present Performance: Develop reports and presentations on Wholesale Onboarding performance and communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders.
  • Participate in Improvement Projects: Participate in projects and initiatives to improve Wholesale Onboarding efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Identify Risk Mitigation Opportunities: Identify ways to mitigate risk and develop new policies and procedures in support of the control and governance agenda.
  • Manage Risk and Controls: Take ownership of managing risk and strengthening controls in relation to the work done.
  • Complex Data Analysis: Engage in complex analysis of data from multiple sources of information, internal and external sources, including procedures and practices from other areas, teams, and companies.
