We are seeking an Advanced Speech and Language Therapist to become a vital part of our Mainstream Schools and Pre-School Speech and Language Therapy team.

Key Responsibilities
As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality services to children, young individuals, and their families.
Your responsibilities will include providing assessments and interventions in both educational and clinical environments. You will collaborate with our established and supportive mainstream school team, with opportunities to engage with the pre-school team based on your interests and expertise. In your designated schools, you will conduct assessments, including Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), and provide training to enhance the skills of school personnel. Within the pre-school team, you will have the chance to implement interventions and perform initial assessments.
About NELFT
Joining NELFT We prioritize a comprehensive onboarding experience for new team members. All new hires will commence their journey with us on the first Monday of each month, participating in an extensive induction program lasting up to two weeks. This program includes essential training, system familiarization, and equipment allocation. New employees will also have the opportunity to meet with senior leadership and attend various engagement sessions focused on health, wellbeing, and operational processes. The induction will take place at our central office.
Probationary Period This position is subject to a probationary period. Internal candidates may be exempt unless they are currently undergoing a probationary period or are part of the bank staff.
High-Cost Area Supplement This role includes a High-Cost Area Supplement of 15% of your base salary, with a minimum payment of £4,313 and a maximum of £5,436 per annum (pro rata for part-time roles).

Essential Qualifications
- Recognized qualification in Speech and Language Therapy or equivalent
- Professional registration
Experience Requirements
- Substantial relevant experience at undergraduate or postgraduate level
- Ability to work collaboratively with parents, caregivers, and other professionals
Skills and Competencies
- Demonstrated clinical reasoning grounded in evidence-based practice
- Strong negotiation, problem-solving, analytical, and reflective skills
