Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and produce monthly and quarterly management accounts to meet challenging deadlines.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations, prepare VAT returns, and reconcile HMRC accounts.
  • Cash Flow Management: Develop and manage cash flow forecasts to ensure the company's financial stability.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and develop the finance team, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
  • Payroll Management: Review and process weekly payroll, including sub-contractor payments.
  • Ad Hoc Projects: Collaborate with senior management on various projects and tasks, providing financial expertise and support.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: ICAS, ACCA, or CIMA qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Time Management: Ability to work under pressure to meet challenging deadlines, with a focus on quality and accuracy.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in COINS and Excel, with the ability to learn new systems and technologies.
