The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Test Development Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing robust tests to ensure the reliability, quality, and compliance of our products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop test systems from the ground up, working closely with cross-functional teams and suppliers.
  • Lead a small team of 3 to carry out all test-related activities, setting an example for excellence and professionalism.
  • Collaborate with the Quality team to ensure compliance with industry standards such as ISO, IATF, and other relevant regulations.
  • Develop and maintain accurate documentation of test procedures and results.
  • Continuously improve and optimize test systems, implementing best practices and methodologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Rich test development experience, incorporating a mix of optics, electronics, software, firmware, laser systems, and mechanical elements.
  • Strong background in developing software automation tests on Windows and Linux.
  • Proficiency in Python and experience with test tools such as Squish, PyWinAuto, Appium, and WinApp driver.
  • Experience in delivering software for medical devices and practical experience in Power Shell, C#, C++, and.NET.
