About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Integration and Test Engineer to join our team at Optos. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the integration and testing of complex ophthalmic imaging systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a small team of Integration and Test Engineers in planning, coordination, and performance evaluation of system integration and testing.
  • Develop and implement test plans, procedures, and documentation for system integration and testing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of systems and modules.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to team members on integration and testing best practices.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of integration and testing activities.
Requirements
  • Strong background in integration and testing of complex systems, preferably in medical devices, automotive, or defence/aerospace industries.
  • Leadership experience or strong potential for leadership roles.
  • Engineering physics-related degree or similar.
  • Experience with integration of one or more of Electronic, Optical, and Mechanical Systems/Sub-systems.
  • Test experience and automation of test processes.
