Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance and Compliance Specialist to join our team at Ernest Gordon Recruitment. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving corrective and preventative action for customer-related and internal issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in delivering exceptional Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) performance
  • Manage industry audits such as Achilles and CHAS
  • Maintain the Integrated Management System (IMS) Health & Safety register and Environmental legal registers
  • Investigate accidents and near-misses, ensuring thorough documentation and corrective actions
  • Conduct internal QHSE audits, oversee corrective actions, and produce management reports
  • Deliver QHSE inductions, toolbox talks, and health & safety awareness initiatives
  • Manage document control to meet standards and operational needs
  • Support frameworks, tenders, and customer inquiries
  • Oversee equipment inspections, lifting, and calibrations
  • Manage COSHH assessments and conduct DSE assessments
  • Grow and sustain the Quality Management System (QMS)

Requirements:

  • QHSE background with a history of implementing and upholding ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards in a manufacturing or engineering background
  • Strong knowledge of industry regulations and standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
