About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Speciality Doctor to join our team at Enfield Acute Adult Inpatient Services. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to adult female patients on our 17-bedded assessment and treatment unit.

As a Speciality Doctor in Adult Psychiatry, you will have the opportunity to conduct clinical assessments, including mental state examinations, history taking, and physical health examinations. You will also be responsible for attending multidisciplinary team meetings, engaging in Mental Health Act Assessments, and leading MDT meetings.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, where you will be exposed to a wide range of psychiatric conditions. You will work closely with various team members to deliver recovery-focused care that emphasizes individuals' strengths and future goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct clinical assessments, including mental state examinations, history taking, and physical health examinations
  • Attend multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Engage in Mental Health Act Assessments
  • Lead MDT meetings
  • Work closely with various team members to deliver recovery-focused care
Requirements
  • Valid GMC registration
  • Right to work in the UK (note: we do not offer sponsorship)
  • Minimum 6 months NHS experience
  • Specialist Registration preferred but not essential
