Job Opportunity for a Consultant Psychiatrist

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at NHS Professionals, working in General Adult Psychiatry. This is an exciting opportunity to provide senior medical input and leadership to our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Providing psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and management to patients accessing care in the team
  2. Acting as a Responsible Clinician for patients treated under the Mental Health Act
  3. Leading and managing the delivery of key performance indicators (KPIs)
  4. Participating in Care Programme Approach (CPA) and multidisciplinary meetings
  5. Providing leadership and management to the service, and participating in clinical governance processes

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Valid GMC registration
  • Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship offered)
  • Minimum 6 months NHS experience
  • Specialist Registration for Adult Psychiatry (preferred but not essential)
