About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paediatric Physiotherapist to lead our Special Schools Physiotherapy Service in Brent. As a key member of our therapy team, you will provide high-quality physiotherapy services to children and young people with physical needs in various settings, including special schools, nurseries, and community clinics.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist physiotherapy assessments and develop client-centered treatment interventions for children with a range of physical needs.
  • Lead the development of physiotherapy clinical pathways and care packages for children transitioning from preschool to school and into adult services.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative services and work collaboratively with the local Child Developmental Team, Education, and Social Care services.
  • Provide leadership and support to staff through appraisal and in-service training.
Requirements
  • Valid Health and Care Professions Council Registration.
  • Relevant post-registration specialist education in Paediatric Physiotherapy.
  • Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy.
  • Substantial experience as a Band 6 physiotherapist in Paediatrics, including experience working with children with additional needs.
  • Knowledge and experience in the use of relevant assessment and treatment approaches, including standardized assessments.
