Job Title: Nursery Teacher

Location: Horley

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Teacher to join our team at Randstad in Horley. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for working with young children and a strong commitment to their holistic development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities to promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
  • Create a safe, supportive, and stimulating learning environment where children feel valued and respected.
  • Assess children's progress, identify individual needs, and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
  • Establish positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues to foster a sense of community and collaboration.
  • Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support children's learning and development both at home and in the classroom.
  • Maintain accurate records of children's progress, attendance, and behaviour, and communicate effectively with relevant stakeholders.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in early childhood education.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Previous experience working with young children in a nursery or early years setting.
  • Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
