Job Title: Nursery Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Assistant to join our team at an outstanding Nursery in Horley, England. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to children aged 3 months to 5 years.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will assist the teacher in delivering lessons and caring for the children, creating engaging activities, and promoting a stimulating learning environment. You will possess vital safeguarding experience and knowledge, exhibit excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and demonstrate a genuine passion for working with children.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the teacher in delivering lessons and caring for the children
  • Possess vital safeguarding experience and knowledge
  • Create engaging activities for the children under your care
  • Understand and apply the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
  • Exhibit excellent interpersonal and communication skills with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Show dedication to providing top-quality education and support for children's growth and development
  • Approach teaching and learning with enthusiasm, creativity, and innovation
  • Adapt to support a diverse range of children across various nursery rooms
Requirements:
  • Genuine passion for working with children
  • Sensitivity and patience
  • Childcare experience
  • CACHE Level 2/3
  • Good knowledge of the EYFS
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK (Sponsorship not available for this role)
