We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Delivery Manager to join our team at Reed. As a key member of our Core Services Team, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of estate services and ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Strategy: Collaborate with the Head of Operations to develop and implement policies and procedures for managing risks related to estate operations.
- Compliance and Governance: Ensure adherence to legal requirements concerning estate matters, including regulations on Construction Design and Management (CDM), fire safety, asbestos control, Legionella prevention, gas safety, electrical standards, Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations (LOLER), Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV), manual handling, Display Screen Equipment (DSE), and Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH).
- Service Delivery: Establish a definitive protocol for routine verifications, assessments, and maintenance activities, including educating staff, hiring contractors, and conducting audits and performance reviews.
- Facilities Management: Oversee the delivery of soft facilities management services, including defining cleaning contract specifications, managing energy and utility provisions, overseeing waste disposal, and ensuring effective security and access control.
- Incident Prevention and Response: Work with the Head of Operations to formulate procedures for incident and accident prevention, reporting, and examination, as well as for emergency preparedness, business continuity, and accessibility.
- Technical Leadership: Assume the role of technical leader for all property-related concerns within the organisation, ensuring that facilities are secure and conducive.
- Team Management: Supervise the Primary Estates Manager directly and provide guidance and support as needed.
- Capital Programme Administration: Administer the Capital Programme, which involves identifying, detailing, acquiring, and supervising projects across various locations.
