Senior Stress Engineer

CBSbutler is seeking a highly skilled Senior Stress Engineer to join their Design team in Kidderminster. This is a unique opportunity to work with a cutting-edge Aerospace & Defence organisation.
Key Responsibilities- Perform structural analysis of new and existing rocket motor systems using FEA software such as Abaqus and Altair-Hyperworks.
- Develop and implement software and programming techniques, including Fortran and Matlab, to support stress analysis.
- Conduct rheological analysis of material testing results and provide advice to the technical community.
- Lead the development of motor structural test plans and participate in the delivery and assessment of structural testing results.
- Act as the structural performance technical authority for assigned projects, supporting project customer meetings, design reviews, and corresponding with customer stress engineers.
- Degree in an engineering discipline such as Mechanical, Aerospace, Structural, or Material Science.
- Proficiency in ABAQUS software and experience with CAD modelling.
