Finance Assistant Job Opportunity

AD Finance is seeking a highly skilled Finance Assistant to join our team. As a Finance Assistant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the Sales and Purchase Ledger, preparing weekly payment runs, and performing bank reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including the Sales and Purchase Ledger.
  • Prepare and process weekly payment runs, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
  • Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
  • Chase debtors and manage credit control processes to minimize bad debt.
  • Prepare and post journals, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Manage holiday requests and coordinate with the team to ensure seamless coverage.
  • Perform additional ad-hoc tasks as required by the finance team.
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
  • Strong communication skills and excellent telephone manner.
  • Ability to prioritize and plan workload effectively.
  • Proficient in Excel and analytical skills.
  • A positive and proactive approach to work, with a willingness to learn and adapt.
