We are seeking a driven professional to join our operations team in the role of Commercial Manager. In this position, you will spearhead the commercial strategy and play a key role in nurturing our business relationships while overseeing daily operations with our partners, sponsors, and suppliers.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the golf industry and/or the sports sector, coupled with the commercial insight necessary to optimize revenue for reinvestment. The successful applicant must exhibit a diverse range of professional management and communication abilities, along with the confidence and interpersonal skills to represent England Golf effectively. If you can showcase a successful track record in developing and leveraging relationships, we would be eager to hear from you.
As the national governing body for amateur golf, we are at the core of golf in England, supporting and empowering a vibrant community of players, counties, and clubs to maximize their enjoyment of the sport we cherish. As a non-profit entity dedicated to the growth of golf, our initiatives benefit over 1,750 golf clubs and 720,000 players. This is a full-time position, primarily working from your home, with required attendance at the England Golf headquarters for a few days each month, along with necessary travel to fulfill the role's responsibilities.
